Simply360 are currently networking for a Finance Director on behalf of London based multi-disciplined cultural and lifestyle agency, within the festivals and brand engagement space – owning several well know music/sports festivals in the UK. The business has been a success for nearly two decades and they are continuing to evolve with ambitious growth plans in the coming years. The Finance Director will be working closely with their entrepreneurial CEO hence this role would suit someone who has had exposure to acquisitions and business modelling.

You will directly manage the Financial Controller and lead the finance team, being a positive force and inspiring commerciality in all situations.

Key Duties:

  • P&L, including frequent reforecasting, as and when required
  • Event P&L targets, including ticketing and other revenue targets
  • Client fee income
  • Resource and overheads
  • Cash flow
  • Ability to model scenarios for new business opportunities, including diversified products/services
  • Partner with the Festivals Director and Head of Operations to develop new products/services from concept through to launch
  • Identifying, assessing and developing all commercial opportunities
  • Monitoring performance v target and identifying any problems
  • Always looking to improve systems and processes to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Business partner to the management team with an eye on all commercial activity
  • Quarterly board packs, including P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow and trading updates
  • KPI monitoring and reporting
  • Monthly management accounts with variance analysis
  • Monthly trading updates for all events
  • Weekly ticket reports for all events
  • Biannual shareholder updates and AGM

Ideally you will have significant experience of working within a similar lifestyle agency / entertainment business, with previous man management experience, a strong commercial finance background with a track record of adding value with strong Analytical and problem solving skills. Previous experience of Paprika software would be ideal but not essential.

A genuine passion for live events and previous experience of working in live events would be beneficial.
