Our client, a leading full-service marketing agency with a global footprint, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their expanding finance team in Sydney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this role, you&#8217;ll play a critical part in facilitating and supporting business transactions, contributing to both day-to-day operations and long-term financial objectives. You\u2019ll manage key financial responsibilities, including month-end processes, Profit &amp; Loss (P&amp;L) oversight for a designated business division, and comprehensive financial accounting tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee monthly and annual forecasts, including revenue, headcount, salaries, and expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform client budget reconciliations and variance reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage budgets, P&amp;L, and client communications for a dedicated business division.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including income tax, FBT, and GST.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee expense claims.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle general journal entries, including prepayments and accruals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage worker\u2019s compensation and office-related insurance policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee payroll processes, validate data, and address invoice issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About You:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A minimum of 5 years\u2019 comprehensive accounting experience, or 1\u20132 years in a similar role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CPA qualification or currently working towards certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in payroll processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with the full Microsoft Office suite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAP experience is highly desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and communication abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energetic, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hybrid working model: a mix of office and remote work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competitive remuneration package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The chance to contribute to a globally recognized marketing agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If this opportunity excites you, we\u2019d love to hear from you.
