This is an opportunity to shape and streamline financial operations in a creative, high-performance environment where ideas and data work hand-in-hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As our next Controller, you\u2019ll serve as a key strategic and operational leader, overseeing all accounting activities while ensuring the financial health and integrity of the agency. You\u2019ll drive the month-end close, reporting, and compliance processes, while championing a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger, A\/P, financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead a high-performing finance team\u2014providing coaching, conducting reviews, and fostering a culture of clarity and collaboration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, and accruals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver insightful financial reports and analysis including cash flow forecasting, reconciliations, and customized dashboards for leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain strict adherence to GAAP and internal controls while optimizing financial processes and procedures for efficiency and scalability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with department leaders to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be the go-to expert on evolving accounting regulations, implementing updates as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with external auditors, vendors, and partners to ensure clean audits and smooth financial operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support compliance with federal, state, and local financial and reporting requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to strategic planning and ad hoc analysis as a key partner to the Head of Finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What You Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deep understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience managing accounting operations and closing processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong technical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Strata, and Salesforce is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative business with shifting priorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience mentoring and managing finance teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Unlimited PTO<\/em> \u2013 because your time matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health, dental, and vision coverage from day one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fully remote setup with tech provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to exclusive client perks and discounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team bonding experiences, both virtual and in-person\u2014from paint nights to magic shows and everything in between.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We believe great talent doesn\u2019t always come in a perfect box.
