Stellar’ global ad spend growth projected to reach 4.7% in 2018

WARC, the international marketing intelligence service, has released its latest monthly Global Ad Trends report digesting up-to-date insights and evidenced thinking from the worldwide advertising industry.

Warc anticipates global adspend growth this year to ring in at a healthy 4.7%, or $572bn (£410bn).

Major sporting events and political campaign spending are expected to underpin growth of 4.7% in the global ad market – the strongest rate since 2011 – as the PyeongChang Winter Olympics and Russia World Cup help push marketing spend to a total of $572bn in the coming year.
