The Mission Marketing Group has named James Clifton as Group CEO, stepping up from agency Big Dog

James will take responsibility for “leading and building the Mission brand through its next phase of growth and delivering sustainable shareholder value”.

James has already held a number of leadership roles at themission. He was founder of balloon dog, then Chair of bigdog and Pathfindr, before overseeing our entire Integrated Agencies Business Unit.

Now he will take responsibility for all 16 Agencies and 28 offices within the Group. Helping us build on the new techniques and technologies that have seen us outpace many of our competitors.

James said “It is well documented that we are in uncertain times, especially in the Advertising industry. But while other Groups have been struggling, 2018 saw The Mission Group deliver its eighth consecutive year of growth. Thanks to our unique proposition and quality of talent I believe we have the opportunity to significantly increase in size, reach and capability in the coming years. Clients want agencies that are versatile enough to help them achieve their ambitions in an ever-changing landscape.“
