Group Accountant
Simply360Search is currently collaborating with an exciting integrated services agency, seeking to appoint a dynamic finance professional to join their team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing business during an expansion phase.
As the chosen candidate, you will spearhead the development of the finance function, ensuring its capacity to support the remarkable growth trajectory of the business. This position is ideal for an experienced Group accountant with marcoms or similar background, who thrives on the prospect of shaping the future of an innovative business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of the finance function, implementing robust controls to sustain rapid growth and facilitate expansion.
- Develop an operational model for the finance department to facilitate international growth.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including the preparation of consolidated management and statutory accounts.
- Assume responsibility for tax compliance and management of transactional finance, leveraging technology to automate processes where feasible.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong preference for candidates with Marcoms/similar background.
- Demonstrated track record of building finance functions, encompassing processes, teams, and systems.
- Proficiency in multi-currency environments and preparation of consolidated accounts.
- Advanced analytical skills, with expertise in Excel.
