Client Finance Manager

They are currently seeking a Client Finance Manager (Senior Project Accounting Manager). This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and make a significant impact. The team consists of high-performing individuals who collaborate both in-person and remotely. This is a hybrid role, which means you’ll be assigned to an office while having the flexibility to work from home.
Overall Purpose of the Role
The Senior Project Accounting Manager is a vital member of the project team, responsible for monitoring the financial performance of projects, managing cashflow, investigating variances, reviewing third-party costs, and ensuring timely reconciliation of projects. Reporting on job profitability and addressing variances is key to this role.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and track budget changes, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
- Track and manage expenses from invoices, credit cards, petty cash, and payroll systems like Atrium.
- Produce accurate client budgets in Excel, detailing fees and costs.
- Develop cashflow and deposit schedules for submission to finance within deadlines.
- Ensure all vendor invoices are authorized and comply with internal requirements.
- Manage purchase orders and track invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Support the project team with budget oversight, preventing overspend.
- Provide timely support and reporting to the project owner, investigating variances.
- Work with the project owner to monitor and manage project profitability.
- Ensure prompt responses for additional information from clients or project teams.
- Identify opportunities for additional billings in coordination with the project owner.
- Secure project owner approval for writing off project-related expenses.
- Reconcile projects upon completion within company timelines.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete for all expenses.
- Compile information for external audits as required.
- Potential on-site travel.

Qualifications
- Experience in finance or accounting is required.
- Familiarity with project/data systems is preferred.
- Marketing agency experience is an advantage.
- International exposure is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong financial knowledge, including budgeting practices, is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
