Simply360’s client, a leading global marketing and localization agency, dedicated to helping brands create meaningful connections with their audiences worldwide, has an opening for an experienced Revenue Accountant to join their growing team based in the heart of London. With over 2 decades of experience, they specialize in delivering culturally relevant content and campaigns that resonate across diverse markets. Their team of experts works with some of the world’s most recognized brands to ensure their messages are impactful, consistent, and effective across all languages and regions.

Reporting to the Financial Controller the Revenue Accountant key responsibilities will be:

  • WIP management – ensuring the timely billing to clients.
  • Work closely with the client teams to stay abreast of changes and modifications to client budgets
  • Gross margin analysis; ensuring that invoices have the correct COGS
  • Reconciling between different revenue/billing metrics across the business (e.g. closed-won sales, billed revenue, recognised revenue)
  • Analyse trends in monthly revenue, and ensure precise revenue recognition within financial statements.
  • Deliver regular financial reports to various stakeholders on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Monitor, expedite and escalate client setup, billing, reconciliation and payment activities ensuring alignment with contract terms
  • Prepare reports on client and job profitability and staff utilisation and provide analysis
  • Perform meticulous monthly balance sheet reconciliations and implement robust controls to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Month end reporting
  • Training the commercial team in finance processes and procedures.
  • Ad hoc finance projects

Requirements

  • Part qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with a proven track record in management accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and understand variances and underlying reasons.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an inquiring mind for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Experience in working in PR or Advertising, Marketing or Media.
  • Paprika experience a must

The role is a hybrid role with 3 office days and 2 days working from home.
