Management Accountant Opportunity with a Leading London OOH Agency
Are you an ambitious and detail-oriented Management Accountant looking to elevate your career? Our client, a top-tier Out-of-Home (OOH) agency based in Central London, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office and 2 days remote), offering the perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration.
About the Role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Directors by delivering accurate and timely management accounts and providing key financial insights. What You’ll Do
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
- Provide variance analysis and insightful commentary on monthly accounts to Group.
- Issue client invoices and collaborate with leadership on budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyse financial data and trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with audit preparation, respond to queries, and liaise with auditors.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in management accounting processes.
- Oversee credit card expense reconciliation, stock take reporting, and balance sheet reviews.
- Handle HMRC reporting, including VAT submissions via MTD and p11Ds.
- Manage payroll and employee benefit schemes (e.g., Vitality, cycle-to-work, childcare, car leasing).
- Partner with Directors and stakeholders to deliver business insights.
- Support office operations occasionally, such as coordinating courier services and handling client calls.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 3-5 years in management accounting, with a proven track record of success.
- Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant or finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred but not essential).
- Tech-savvy and diligent, with a proactive mindset.
